Today I choose to stay in the solution and not the problem. The Hope Center clearly provides me a living example of where I could very easily end up in less fortunate circumstances should I choose to pick up another drink. Like they say in the program, “I may have another drink left in me, but I just may not have another recovery.” The Hope Center is a definite part of my solution. In serving others, I can show that there is indeed a way out of the nightmare that is addiction.
Service Opportunities
The Hope Center provides a place for people to engage our community by learning to serve others. Avenues of service include: The Hope Center Volunteer Program, Court appointed Community Service hours, Recovery Program Community Service hours and Butte County Employment Programs including Work Experience and CalWorks/TANF as well as Section 8 service hours.
